Only 2 weeks away from start of season. I know FB is still going on. I think Ottoville will be one of the best in the PCL and the whole area. Very tough non league schedule. ( Bath, Coldwater, Arlington, O-G, LB, Minster, DSJ, Crestview, the PCL, and several more). They have most of the team back also. Should be interesting starting Nov. 25. Is there any feedback? Flounder? Thanks

I'd say there's a good chance Grove and Ottoville will be right at the top again. Both bring back a lot of talent from last season

My friends down in Green country are thinking this could easily be the year for a Columbus run. They are usually right on the money with their picks. Should be another repeat in the district with Arlington and they are saying the Lady Green defense will get them the win. Maybe there's a better plan to stop the Nichol's train this year.

I will root on the Lady Green for 21 of their games. The 22nd game I will have to root on the Pirates or my neighbor will be furious.

General, I hope Conti finishes second. Ottoville opens Friday at Van Wert and Saturday at home vs. Crestview. 15 girls on V/JV. Hopefully they will have a great season. Go Green.

Thanks Von. I'm hearing the Lady Green had 2 starters that were injured in a scrimmage. I was told that one may play this weekend and the other will miss a few games. Got to stay healthy.

Thank General, Thanks for the info. No problem hopefully, later in the season. They won tonight 82-25 over Van Wert. I am sure almost all players played except for the injured players. Crestview tomorrow night.

We lost to Lincolnview by 20 on opening weekend. It's been a tough start for the Lady Pirates.

General, I saw the young girl, freshman, I think that was a superior soccer (all state) player is playing BB. Is she great in BB also? Thanks

Von, you're thinking of Alex Hoeffel. She's a very good soccer player and that is her passion. She does have the athleticism to do the other sports but soccer is at the top of her list. Looking at our entire program our girls basketball numbers are down. 7/8 had to combine for 1 team. I'm hoping the girls stick with it win or lose.

Looks like the Lady Green are living up to their expectations. I was told that 5 of the non-starters would probably start for most of the teams in the area. More importantly I heard that the girls are just great kids. Last year at the Cove i could see that they are of good character and sportsmanship.

I'm hoping to make that drive to Columbus. My friends down in Green country like to treat me well when they're winning.
