I don't know about handily. But either way it was expected. Minster had alot coming back and were expected to get back to state. Meanwhile gotta admit I didnt think Ottoville would be. I even thought they had a chance to get beat by Arlington but they handily beat them. They will have to continue at that level and Dave will have to be at his best coachong if they wanna upset Minster. But of course they got Shadyside who I don't know much about but I'd imagine it wont be easy.

I am taking Ottoville and Minster. Ottoville will have to play like they did vs. Arlington to win both games. Very tough. They have had a wonderful year. Go Lady Green....

Ottoville will defeat Shadyside....don’t get me started...and Minster wins unless the whole team has the flu....Loramie beat Minster during the season on Loramie’s home court and yes sterio, my sources tell me they handled them this time around...if it comes down to Ottoville/Minster....Minster really gets after you on defense and their opponent has to work for their points....Prenger is back as are the Wolf girls....personally, Minster creates a lot of matchup problems!!!!!!!

I'm fully aware how good Minster is. But I fail to see how they handled Loramie. Maybe you and I have different meanings for that word, but up until the 4th quarter, that game was within 7 points. So you don't have to make them soound any better than what we already know lol but we will agree to disagree on that. Anyways Minster was the team to beat before the season and they still are. I didnt see Ottoville getting state this year so I'll admit I was surprised. It will have to take an effort like what Ottoville did to Arlington x2 and Dave's best coaching to beat a team like Minster assuming both teams win their semi game.

I agree %100, the game has to be played. I know it will be real tough. If DSJ can beat Shadyside in football 80-7, Ottoville still has a chance, Sorry Flounder, just kidding.

DSJ girls beat Shadyside in the 2002 semi-finals 50-32.

Just in case anyone wondered, the entire village of Ottoville is behind their girls basketball team again this year. These seasonal articles are the epitome of lazy journalism, change the year/ names of community members interviewed and the article writes itself.

You sure about that von? Knippen, Hoersten, and Honigford are Ottoville names? Just kidding. I've got my Lady Green shirt and heading to Ottoville and then Columbus tomorrow morning.

Have a great time General. I'd fly back but airfare is $1100 from out here in CA. I will be listening on the Big Z. Also, Cloverdale has given us many great players, especially my friend, Big Jim Wannemacher, Joe Hotrstman, and many girls.

It appears you are correct. Shadyside's CB# is 4. Ottoville 0. Minster 0.

I saw an interesting note on another site. Columbus Africentric handled Berlin Hiland today. CB# for both schools: CA 20 Hiland 14. Big numbers.

I am sure all of ColA players are from their feeder school. Imagine 3-5 D-1 players from a D-3 HS program that's amazing. One is going to UCONN. At least BH gave them a game.
