I think that you are completly missing Spencerville. They are great competion along with Columbus Grove and Buffton. They are a great team and work together to earn the points they need to win. Conference should be a great compition for them all.

Great meet overall and very fun to watch. The bluffton boys performed very well and came home with the victory. congratulations pirates on your NWC championship. The grove boys had many things that did not go their way, but overall they did not perform the way they should have in order to win. congratulations grove on your 2nd place finish, and edging out that 2nd place over spencerville by a mere point and a half. Good luck all runners come district meet this weekend!

Congrats to the LCC relay teams and Mykale Rogers on their accomplishments at state this year. The 4x200 team made it to the State Semi-finals while running without their fastest sprinter, Michael Rogers. Michael was able to make it back far enough from his hamstring injury to run in the 4x100 relay at state, where they finished 6th in the finals despite no practice time. Kudos to Lee Stewart, a freshman, who filled in for Michael Rogers during the tournament and helping the relays make it to state.
Mykale Rogers, Michael's freshman brother, had one of the fastest 200 times heading into state but pulled up with a pulled back muscle in the prelims at state. He did manage to get it together enough to finish second in the long jump. Rufus Johnson was in the state tournament as a long jumper as well.
Bubba Krieg, a member on both relays, topped off an outstanding high school athletic career by making it to state in his third different sport. He was a starting guard on the state champion basketball team and an All-State WR and DB on this year's state football team as well. If I'm not mistaken, he also wont he 200 at the NWC meet.
Congrats on a great season; and to Michael, Rufus, and Bubba a great career.
