Top Three Teams - Kalida, Columbus Grove and Leipsic

Looking to move up - Ottoville and Pandora-Gilboa

Wishing soccer didn't take so many athletes - Miller City and Continental

Wishing soccer didn't take all the athletes - Ft. Jennings

Here is my ranking:

1) Kalida - moves past CG this year
2) CG - only loss in PCL will be to Kalida
3) Ottoville - will suprise some people this year
4) Leipsic - doesn't have that "killer" instinct
5) PG - needs more experience
6) MC - needs more players
7) Continental - needs basketball season to start

Note to Elvis: Ft. Jennings doesn't have volleyball this year. They dropped the program.

Kalida starts out with a 3 - 0 non-league win over Van Wert with 16 aces. Still think they are the team to beat this year in PCL. Looks like I will have to revise my opinion of CG and Leipsic. Leipsic wins 4 - 1 over Grove last night. So now, CG's only PCL losses this year will be to Kalida and Leipsic. Maybe Leipsic got "hungry" over the summer? P-G falls to 1 - 2 on the season with a tough 3 - 2 loss to a scrappy Bluffton team.

Elvis -About FJ losing all its players to soccer - Sad. I officiated there last year. Great facility - really sad to see it end. And Joe - our beloved Pirates are in for a looooong season. Unfotunately they have had so many coaches over the last four years there is no consistancy. If they can hold out for a couple of years (and not end because of soccer) with the same coach--who can teach them volleyball - well maybe. Cellar-dwellers this year I am sad to say.

very funny Yoshi. I think it's sad that the Fort can't get a team going.

If Grove beats Kalida then it's a 3 way tie because Leipsic already beat Grove and won't lose to any other PCL team.

It stinks Leipsic had to play Kalida a night after having to go to Liberty Benton to play for the BVC title. Hopefully the two teams will meet again in regionals.

Good point! Its too bad this game was scheduled during their homecoming week. Usually the girls play powder puff football on Thursday and get to enjoy their homecoming week. But somehow the A.D. loaded them up. They played VB on Monday Wednesday and Thursday with PP on Tuesday. I realize when the games were scheduled they didn't know how their record was going to be but anyone that schedules should think ahead to how busy everyone is during homecoming WEEK .

Pirate Blue, your right, Continental did have a looooooooooong season!!!!
There were only a couple of girls that actually took it serious. Too much giggling around, I mean you can have fun but a little dedication would help. To some having fun means hard work and winning, not just being there. Hats off to the couple of girls who were frustrated all year long. Good luck next year.
