Ok, we've almost been through an entire season. How has the new pitch count rules worked, in your opinion? Is there any chance this gets tweaked? Does it help the game or hurt it?

It adds a lot of calculating, planning, pitching changes, and frustration. I have also seen coaches leave pitchers in longer than usual because they are already over the limit for the required 3 day rest but under 125 pitches, and they don't want to lose another pitchers eligibility to pitch in the next few days.

Rule keeps coaches from abusing young arms but as above post says coaches will manage right up to the rule. A couple good tweaks would be lower max of 125 down to 110-115 and put 4 days rest after 100 pitches.....right now it is 3 days after 75+. Now maybe coaches will work a bit harder to try and have 5 or 6 kids who can at least throw strikes to give them some innings after dealing with this new rule this year.
