No one will mistake you for a beer snob with those choices. Hahaha!

Great Lakes is phenomenal beer. Fat Tire out of Colorado is some good stuff, too, if you can ever find it.
Personally, I don't recommend Redd's Apple Ale. It's not an Ale at all. It's a hard cider. Don't get me wrong, I've had more than a few and it's not bad but guessing by your other tastes I simply wouldn't recommend it to you.
I used to be a bit of a beer snob but just sorta grew out of it. Now I'm back to Busch Light/Bud Light/Budweiser and the occasional Summer Shandys. A far cry from my beer snob days but I enjoy it so I don't much care.

I'd rather shower at Penn State than root for Michigan.

Right now, and for the summer, I am on a Miller Lite binge. I figured it tastes okay, plus I can find it anywhere. Any golf course, any bar, any hotel, any vacation spot... pretty much anywhere will have Miller Lite.

Go to The Wine Merchant in Findlay, Defiance Beverage Center or Ray's in Lima for very good selections of micro brews & not-so-common beers. Also, do yourself a favor & check out Alexandria's in Findlay...restaurant/bar with a very good selection of micro's and a couple house beers on tap. Venture to guess they have 60+ beers to choose from
