it's July, I'm enjoying my summer. Wake me up when it's time for the kick-off in about a month

Hopefully this hot weather can cooperate a little better when 2-a-days start.

Why do schools in this area, practice in the heat of late mornings and early afternoons. I would think knowing about how heat effects people they would do early mornings and late evenings. I used to see a number of Georgia and Texas schools do this, the players play games under the lights anyway, what better way than under the lights to get them ready for game day? Now I'm going back to my summer vacation, see everyone in a month

If you go early morning, then late evening, that puts quite a strain on people's schedules. A lot of kids work in the summer, and it would be hard to work just in the late morning/early afternoon.
