Kenton v bath- I think bath pulls this one off with tough defense. 21-16.
Elida v OG- the 2-5 bulldogs could very easily be 5-2. Are young and have battled all year. I think they pull off a big win against a slipping OG team. Dawgs 28-14.
Defiance v van wert- bad meets worse. Thinking something like 27-14 cougars.
Celina v Shawnee- the Indians keep it close against a disappointing celina team, I believe the pieces are there to win at Shawnee, they just do not have great coaching. Bulldogs take this one 32-21.

Kenton over Bath - I'm gonna have to start picking up some upsets to try to gain ground but I just can't do it here.
O-G over Elida - Elida might have the ability to win but O-G has been more consistent so I'll go with that.
Van Wert over Defiance - if there's any kind of positive thought for Defiance, maybe it's that I think they are playing more non-seniors than any year in quite a while.
Celina over Shawnee - Celina hasn't shown much since the first two weeks but Shawnee has only shown up in two games total this year.

(1-6) Shawnee at Celina (4-3): Bulldogs have been a little inconsistent lately, but they can fix some problems against a straight-up bad Shawnee team. This one won't be close. 49-0 Celina.
(5-2) Kenton at Bath (4-3): Somewhat interesting of a matchup with the way that Bath's been playing. The blue 'Cats have some good options out there but I think the Hardin County Wildcats have too much defense and can outscore Bath en route to a win. 35-21 Kenton.
(0-7) Defiance at Van Wert (2-5): Here's my upset special of the week. Despite being banged-up all season long and having a dreadful defensive showing all season long, I think Defiance will take advantage of a mistake-prone VW team and their offense will get going enough to give DHS their first win of the season in a shootout. 49-42 Defiance.
(2-5) Elida at O-G (5-2): Despite Elida being close in a lot of games this year, I just think the Titans are too balanced on each side of the ball to lose to a team like the Bulldogs. 31-14 Ottawa-Glandorf.

Defiance vs Van Wert Van Wert Coach Keith Reckers teams are slowly but surely getting better and Defiance defense or lack thereof will be no match vs the Cougs.
Shawnee vs Celina Celina Celina has taken a step back in Trent Temples second year, but not far back to not dominate a team which just is not very good.
Elida vs O-G O-G Titans come home for perhaps the final time this season and they sure as hell do not want it to end in a lose. A victory keeps a slim playoff hope alive and O-G is just a better team. The Dawgs have had a hard time beating O-G over the last ten years and friday night will be no exception.
Wapakoneta vs St. Marys If I lived closer to Auglaize County I might go to this game. Emotions will be in full force from many perspectives. However when that wears off, the balance, strength, and power which Doug Frye helped to build will come back to bite him. I do not think this game will be close at all, however it would not surprise me that St. Marys will give Wapak all they can handle. Redskins just have too many weapons.

Celina- Celina has let me down several times , but they will be too much for the Indians, who have packed it in for the season
Kenton- Kenton's defense will be the factor, but Bath always seems to play the redcats tough. Upset is possible
Defiance- Defiance's defense is bad, but their offense could get untracked and score a bunch. I guess this is an upset
Ottawa- After two straight loses the titans are out to finish strong

Celina- Shawnee may be the worst team in the league. Considering how bad Defiance is, that says something.
Kenton- Bath's too unpredictable for me to pick them. Close game wouldn't shock me.
Defiance- I actually think VW will win, but I have a game to make up in the standings and time is running short. The one positive I'll give Defiance is they don't seem to give up on a game. Maybe they can steal one here.
O-G- Elida's also too unpredictable for me to pick them. Titans need to win out to keep playoff hopes alive and even that may not be enough. They'll bounce back strong here.
