Continental won a great game 5-1 over atop notch Antwerp team.....Congratulations to the team and Coaches Eding and Streicher for a great win..... Bats were moving, Hanefeld pitched a great game and McKean did a great job behind the plate. Doenges had some nice catches in center. The whole team did a great job on defense and supported each other well. It was a nice team win!!!!!!!!!!

That a girl Jess, staying around the plate 10k's is alot. Playing 11 innings with that control, I am impressed. The team itself, has the potential to go on a winning streak. Good defense, timely hitting, smart base running. Most of all when on the field talk to each other, keep your heads in the game, you'll go far.

The problem with Antwerp is they have struggled with offense the past 3 years. Schlatter is a good pitcher but she is hit often. Antwerp is only as good as their offense...
