This is a loaded district with LCC as the prohibitive favorite to make it out. There are a lot of regional- level, quality teams, though.

LCC 18-1
Spencerville 13-3
Jefferson 14-5
Wayne Trace 12-6
Coldwater 11-6
Bluffton 10-6
Marion Local 10-8
Allen East 9-9

Carey (8-9), Riverdale and Parkway are the only teams below .500 in this 11 team district
Allen East, Bluffton, Carey, Coldwater, Delphos Jefferson, Lima Central Catholic, Marion Local,

Parkway, Riverdale, Spencerville, Wayne Trace (11)

Allen East, Bluffton, Carey, Coldwater, Delphos Jefferson, Lima Central Catholic, Marion Local,

Parkway, Riverdale, Spencerville, Wayne Trace (11)

Spencerville would be the only team that could possibly derail LCC. There isn't a guard in this district as explosive as Tre Cobbs. LCC is and will use the fuel from the LSH loss to power them through...

Sad (and exciting) to see this many great teams in one district. A lot of district level teams will be beat in Sectionals.

And if you look at the other 3 districts in NW Ohio there are a lot of very mediocre teams. I'm guessing Liberty Benton, Ottawa Hills, and Western Reserve join LCC at BGSU.

Why did Coldwater decide to go after LCC, rather than Spencerville?

This bracket looks more entertaining than most year's regional/state matchups!
I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

My only answer would be maybe they wanted an easier first game.

Wouldn't S'Ville get first dibs since they are a two seed?

the #2 seed must go to the opposite sectional of the 1 seed and then they can place themselves wherever. Actually, sometimes it may be better to be voted a 3 seed due to more flexibility

Any idea on why the Sectional Finals @ Van Wort are this afternoon and not last night?

Thanks.

The semis were postponed due to weather on Wednesday so I imagine they just pushed the finals back a day due to that situation.

Big concert at the PAC tonight so they didn't want a conflict with traffic.

I'm taking LCC vs SV in DF

The Spencerville- Wayne Trace game has a chance to be a real banger........2 teams that like to get the ball up and down the court and neither team hesitates to shoot the three.

Excited to get to call my Bearcats for another game as they played well yesterday in the win over Marion.
