With both O.G. and Defiance graduating a huge 2010 class..who do you believe steps in this year and takes it all? I believe Bath will shock alot of folks this year with their strong 2011 class

O.G. didn't really lose any of there strong runners the only guys they lost were there relay members. Defience lost about there whole roster besides Prichette and Bath will be at the top of the leauge with all there mid distance runners returning. Even though there field events are weak there runners will take care of buisness. O.G. returns all of there individual event guys back. They got the Pothast kid who can sky.

Defiance is being underestimated I think.. I mean of course everyone on RC for the most part is partial to their team.. but Defiance has won five straight and they have enough talent to go six times.. With Coach Mouser who was just inducted to the HOF leading the distance group they should be tough as always (Able Flores, Austin Fraley, Garret Wiles (Zach Wiles' younger brother!) They will find a way.

Yeah but relays are important in meets. They had a strong 4x4 team in which i believe they graduated 3 members off that relay, and a really strong 4x8 but not sure how many off that. They'll definitely be tough as well as defiance and st. mary's, however i dont think defiance and og will blow everyone out like they may have done in the past. Bath should have plenty of top 1-5 finishers at the wbl meet including Bishop 100m (4th last year), Todd Long 200m (Top 8 last year), Cory Lee 300H (1st), Bishop 400m (2nd) Dustin Gordon 400m (5th i believe), Tommy Mault 800, Blake VanVorce Long Jump (2nd last year), and a tough 4x4 and 4x8. Some others to keep an eye on are Jarvis Fails and Aaron Smith, 2 very good athletes that both took a year off last year. Defiance will definitely be led by their distance team. And st. marty's is pretty solid everywhere.

Both Bath and OG will be good teams this year, but as far as they go they only have a couple solid distance runners's as well as sprinters. Although no teams that i see this year are exceptionally stacked in anyway possible

I don't really know alot about present day Kenton track, but this is how it went when I was ran track in Kenton sophmore year.. ('05-'06 yr)

a) what Kenton lacks in DISTANCE it makes up for in SPRINT (not sure if derrick snyder, distance runner is still in hs??)
cool.gif never really posed a pole vault or high jump threat
c) is always a top 10 in region RELAY
d) usually packs a good punch with shotput/discus.

Now again, I know it's the '10-'11 school year, and many things might have changed! But there's an old saying, "Old habits never die fast."

If someone could enlighten me as to the competition in terms of DISTANCE running this year??? Because when I was a sophmore running distance, all any team ever talked about on the track at places like Bellefontaine Relays, Kenton Relays, WBL, and Upper Sandusky INV, was "CELINA. CELINA... That Green Team.. Those Bulldogs."
