Craft V. Burke part 1 was a push statistically, with OSU winning we'll give Craft the slight edge. Guard play from the 2 teams seems close, OSu was a little better. The Buckeye Big Men >> >>Michigan's bigs.

I think Craft would have more points per game and a higher shooting percentage is he wasn't going 110 miles a hour on the defensive side of the court, often guarding the best non-pivot player the opposition offers up.

I'll be the first to admit, Thad messed up pretty bad allowing Burke to go to Michigan from right under his nose in Columbus, OH.

I have a question, though..........didn't Burke initially commit to Penn St. and they withdrew his scholarship? If so, why in holy hell did PSU let him get away? I guess that is why Penn St. basketball is what it is every year, somwhere between mediocre and crappy.

He initially committed to PSU. I am not aware of them pulling the offer. Michigan went after him and he decommitted.

Bottom line is Vic is right. CRAft needs to shoot more in games, that Bufford, is not able to get his. He needs to shoot. As much as I love everything else about his game. He needs to shoot the Three more often, especially when teams play zone. He passes up alot of open shots, which as a defense they are going to play off him, and sag toward Bufford, and gamble that the one out 20 times he is open he will shoot.

AND I adore AC....So don't come at me that I bashing am a AC hater, my son and him are great friends, but I am entitled to my opinion, and he needs to shoot period. Not asking him to carry the team in scoring, but in games where they are playing zone he needs to be able to step up and get 10-15 points from outside...not just free throws.

And when Michigan was in a zone, they did not go out close to the three point line to guard him most of the time. Especially at the top of the key. He does so much for the team, but he needs to shoot to keep the the D honest on opposing teams, and keep them from clogging up the middle which helps them double Bufford, and Sullinger.

Defensively he does impact the game, but if OSU is behind, and sullinger is being held down, then they do not have another consistent scorer for him not to shoot like they did last year in Diebler. And litey came through when they needed him. They do not always score off his steals.

CRAFT needs to shoot!!! By the way that's not just my opinion that is also the opinion of Jay B. who Loves AC and says he may be the best on Ball guard in the country. Wishes he would shoot more.

I am really enjoying this conversation. Not so long ago quite a few egg heads thought he should commit to a MAC school. The PROPHET SPOKE TWO YEARS AGO ON Aaron's true ability AND AGAIN TODAY.

Yeah I saw that too. I was kind of surprised, that Hardaway Jr. didn't then declare as well. I think it is a leap for Burke to go just yet. I am not sure what you think Vic. but if you didn't think Davis was ready, you clearly can't think Burke is, am I right?

I don't like this much myself, but besides the money, this is what almost every kid thought about since they 1st starting to dribble a basketball...the dream, their goal.............Can anyone blame these kids for going after what they have wanted since they started playing ball? Yes they need the education, but we know a lot of them did not go to college for the education.
More than anything, what I really do not like about all of these kids leaving early is the demise of the college game. Can anyone imagine the games we could have witnessed in the "Dance" if all of these players would have stayed at their respective universities all 4 years. Selfish of me, but wow some of the match ups would have been classic
