DV: Coldwater looks to be the team to beat this year.
DVI: St Henry, Minster and Versailles all appear to be tough this year. I think this is the deepest the MAC has ever been in the middle. These 3 teams are all about equal, with Minster getting the nod for the best out of these right now. Could one of them knock Kirtland off?
DVII: Marion Local. Four peat. Enough said.

It's exciting to think about and certainly could happen, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. We've still got five games to play before we even think about playoffs, and that's an entirely different ballgame altogether.

Ursuline is 3-2 and 3rd in their region. Wins over Walsh Jusuit, Lake Cath, and Warren G Harding. Their two losses were a 5pt loss to 4-1 Stuebenville and a loss to 4-1 Benedictine.

And they still have Mooney, Massilon and St Vincent St. Mary's on the schedule. If they make it....they should be prepared.

Ursuline opponents played so far this year have a record of 14-10. their record is 3-2 with the losses both coming from traditional D4 powers Steubenville and Bendictine(both 4-1) Ursulines wins come against a D1, D2, & D3 school. Not withstanding Steubby and Bendictine, their meat of schedule awaits them. They still have Massilon, Cardinal Mooney and SVSM to play. They get thru that meat grinder ok, they will be a tough out again.................Edit; I see I was too slow in my post...great thoughts Bluetiger....lol

I think a MAC team gets out of the region in D6, but I'm not convinced it's any of the ones you mentioned. But I don't think any of them have what it takes to knock off Kirtland.

Anna is the only other D6 MAC team that has a chance of making the playoffs that I did not mention.

You think SH is better than Minster? I don't know as I havent seen either of them yet-but I thought SH might be alittle better. Either way it looks like SH and Minster would eliminate the other in the playoffs as no other team in their region is better IMO. Will Versailles even make the playoffs? Not sure-but if they do they might win a couple games.
