Stinger Shootout Futsal Tournament

You are all invited to participate in the Stinger Shootout Futsal Tournament, hosted by the Cory Rawson ladies soccer team. We have two full sized basketball courts to play on this year so there is plenty of room for players and fans alike.


What: 5 a-side futsal style indoor soccer tournament, minimum of 4, 20 minute matches

When: Saturday, March 8, 2014

Age Groups: High School – Boys - morning games
High School – Girls - afternoon games
Adult – Co-Ed - evening games

Where: Cory Rawson High School, 3930 County Road 26, Rawson OH 45881

Cost: $80 per team, due at time of registration

Roster: 4 field players plus 1 goalkeeper on the field
Max of 8 players per team and players can only play on one team per
division
Deadline: Brackets are filled on a first come, first served basis
Schedules and information packet will be sent to the team contact
approximately one week prior to the tournament

Q1) Do the OSHAA rules limit how many players from one high school team can play together in the Shootout?
A1) No, futsal and indoor soccer are considered different sports than outdoor soccer and therefore the 5 player per team limit does not apply here. http://www.ohsaa.org...3OSWIssue06.pdf

Q2) Can I coach my high school team in the Shootout?
A2) No, although futsal is considered a different sport than outdoor soccer, the OHSAA still prohibits you from coaching your players during this time. http://www.ohsaa.org...so/somanual.pdf

Q3) Can I organize a team with my high school players on it for the Shootout?
A3) Yes, you may provide information to your players regarding off season tournaments and camps but you cannot provide instruction to those players in a competitive environment.

Q4) Can I play on more than one team in the Shootout?
A4) Yes, but not in the same division. For example, Suzy may play on a team in the High School girls division and another team in the High School boys division but cannot play on two teams in the High School girls division.
