• Wauseon has won 30 regular season games in a row. Finished as State Runnerup in D2 last year. Defeated an undefeated Southview team at Southview last night.

Which league do people think is the best in basketball in our area?

If we are talking top-to-bottom, I don't think anyone can say that TRAC isn't the best basketball league in our area.

Now, if we are staying more local, I would say Western Buckeye League

The worst conference is probably the BVC

I guess I'd say WBL, MAC, NWOAL, Shelby County League, PCL, NWC..then BVC....that covers all the leagues of almost all the teams in your poll area.

WBL gets the nod with OG, Elida, Shawnee & Wapak all playing really well
MAC....well, it's the MAC....7 or 8 teams could win a league game on any given night
NWOAL....defending D2 state runner up Wauseon and Archbold. Drops off real quick after that
Shelby County League...Fort Loramie and Anna....if Fort Loramie wins tonight, might consider moving SCL ahead of the NWOAL
PCL....Ottoville& Kalida all solid. FJ is getting better and MC can be competitive.... though not sure if any of them are up for making a real deep tourney run.
NWC....Crestview & Llincolnview...then not much else
BVC.....PG...and a bunch of other teams that really haven't beaten anybody

PG is also in the PCL CharlieSheen. I didn't know if you knew that. Maybe throw in Van Buren in the BVC but I don't know how good they really are I just know them and North Baltimore and PG is undefeated in that conference.

Lol...yep, but I included them in the BVC as they likely will be the league champ. Van Buren has beaten 1 team with a winning record....and gave up 64 points to Liberty Benton....20 points more than anyone else other than 0-9 Arcadia had given up to the Eagles. That alone keeps the Black Knights out of any mention of "good teams"

Big win for Ft. Loramie on the road tonight. Tough loss for Versailles but they will continue to be near the top.

Liberty Benton is very bad this year. I don't know what happened to the team..

After last night's win on the road, in a tough environment, Ft. Loramie has jumped up to the top spot in the Power 15. What a game that was, and it's a shame that either team had to lose. Ft. Loramie now has to get ready to host a very talented Anna team on Friday night. I don't see OG, Elida or Wauseon having any problems with their next two opponents. Versailles should bounce back Friday night on the road against Marion Local, but I've seen crazier things happen. Anna has a huge weekend ahead, and could really make a statement. I'm anxious to see if Shawnee can continue this run and end up 11-2 after this weekend with the Blue Jays coming to town on Saturday night. Ottoville @ Pandora will have a lot of people's attention on Saturday night. St. Henry has two very tough games, both on the road and could very easily fall out of the top 15 after this weekend is over.
