Elida over Van Wert - Van Wert is the only winless team and Elida isn't a bad team so...
Wapak over Celina - I look for a low scoring game here between 2 really good defenses, but I don't think the top 3 teams will lose to anyone outside of that triumvirate.
O-G over Defiance - Yet another game where Defiance outgains its opponent but loses, last week. Special teams and penalties are really hurting the team. Still, we're seeing stats and line play that haven't been there since at least the 2008 playoff team, maybe even further back. But, the Bulldogs' next three opponents are all 5-0 so nothing will happen there.
St. Marys at Bath - Bath's disappointing season continues. It will be interesting to see what happens when St. Marys goes up against a really stout defense against the run. The only team St. Marys has faced with a winning record, it won a really close game.
Kenton over Shawnee - I guess it might not be a blowout but I think Kenton should have enough to win without going down to the wire.

Elida over Van Wert - Not much to this pick, Elida's not a bad team. Van Wert is. Bulldogs should roll pretty easily, considering the Cougars are on their backup QB.

Wapakoneta over Celina - I think the Redskins aren't quite up to last year's level but Celina had real trouble getting the pass game going so if they're already one-dimensional it makes Wapak's job that much easier.

O-G over Defiance - I think Defiance is much better than a 1-4 record would indicate and aside from dumb turnovers, they're making some real progress. I think O-G is too balanced and talented across the boards but I wouldn't be surprised if the Bulldogs keep it close in the first half like they did last year.

St. Marys over Bath - Man Bath is really struggling up front and it shows. You go from Wapak to SM? Ouch. Although we still may not get to see what St. Marys really is, considering who they've played to date.

Kenton over Shawnee - Shawnee turns the ball over too much and makes too many mistakes for me to think any kind of upset alert is needed here. Kenton's not great, but that system and the experience on that team will keep this one comfortable for the Wildcats.

Elida

Wapak but I think Celina and the wet grass will give us a rough time.

O.G.

St. Marys unless Bath wakes up.

after 6 weeks

Wapak- class of the league, haven't lost a WBL game in 2 years
St. Mary's- OG, St. Marys and Wapak all play each other in the last 3 weeks.
OG- Titans are playing hard
Elida- Bulldogs are a good team, lost to Celina but I am still ranking them above the green dogs
Celina- another good team,
Kenton- can score, but this is not your parent's Kenton team
Bath- biggest disappointment in the league. I thought the wildcats would contend
Shawnee- Crea is a good coach but this team has a long way to go
Van Wert- basketball season starts soon
