Sam's performance was impressive last night with 4 individual wins for his team (LJ, 100,200 & 400). I had a feeling that the Long jump record might fall last night, but still quite impressive for a recaod to last that long. Siefker on the lady's side also involved in 4 PCL wins with two being in the relays. Six or 7 PCL records were set last night from the boys and girls combined. Perfect night to run with temps down and wind down and a fast track. Congrats to all who put on quite a show last night at the Bob Kaple Track & Field Complex. Other than a mix-up in the girls 200 which they finally got right, things wene pretty smooth for the first PCL at the Kaple. Also, nice to see Bob Kaple running the shot last night.

Was it wind aided? If it was that would be a shame for the record. But still an impressive leap by no means.

Congrats.

There was a slight tailwind but nothing of major sort. the wind was very calm all night. His jump is legit. He tied it in the semi's and broke it in the finals. Not just a one jump fluke. Congrats!!!!
