Not a big deal but sometimes the girls and boys play in a different division. I am also pretty sure that college courts are being used by some conferences in the college tournament. As I have stated before, it sounds really easy to make changes but I don't think some of you know the domino effect. I truly believe that the OHSAA tries to do the best they can when it comes to finding a way to try to avoid conflicts.

Agreed. There is too much advanced planning involved to just change things on a whim. It's especially difficult when there is a direct conflict on the same night. That being said....switching the boys regional games on Saturday is a very practical and sensible thing to do.

OG's crowd at BG was good in spite of lots of people having to deal with girls & boys game times conflict. OG still ended up with more fans than Lexington although student section had to fill in with lots of underclass students as most of older students were in Columbus for the girls game.

One sad thing about the State Tournament is as parents we shuttle our kids around to events for most of their lives, support them financially for the opportunity to play Mighty Mites, AYB, AAU, etc. and when they make it to State we end up with tickets that put us up in the corner, 50 feet from the court. The students have better seats than what was offered for family. When Leipsic went to the BG regional, we were mid court, 8 rows up. Really enjoyed those. In hind site, probably should have bit the bullet and paid for seats behind the bench where the view was better, but we wanted to be a part of the group and be together. OHSAA should, but probably won't, set aside seats by the benches for team families. 20 players, coaches, mgrs. get 4 tickets would be 80 seats. I guess families don't mean much to OSHAA but $$$ does.
P.S. Does back to back trips to the State Finals vindicate the "Posse" for wanting to switch girls coaches a few years back?

The last time these two played , I think my heart stopped about nine times as the Minutemen put up many point-blank offensive rebounds before the final buzzer sounded without any of them falling. With all the hoops being played this week by Lady Titans & this group, let's hope this one is a little easier on the ticker ! Anyone know anything on Lexington?
Ryan Maag is still a wanted man in Lexington.

Prolly....although there are a fair amount of people in the great Ottawa - Glandorf area who do not care for the current regime.
As for the tickets....if schools consistently purchased tickets maybe they'd consider it. Fact is, a huge percentage of coaches, AD's, Supt's etc show up for every game and are given the primo seats.
