At tonight's Pirate volleyball game I noticed that ALL the Continental players and coaches had their hands over their hearts during the national anthem (known as the "Civilian Salute". Nobody was holding hands and waggling them back and forth, or clasped behind their back.

Some, but not many, coaches instruct their players to honor our country in this way. Very proud of Coaches Allison Streicher and Jordan Streicher. Hope the rest of the Pirate coaches see that this is done.

Any others feel the same way?

I don't think many are too concerned how people act during the national anthem, as long as they take their hat off and show some respect.
