I know they have a teacher on staff that coaches at Arlington I wonder if Kloepfer resigned late in the year to allow the teacher on staff to get the job. I can't recall his name? I believe he has coached at Riverdale before as an assistant. Thoughts??

Not gonna happen. Coach Speyer has one son that will be a sophomore at Arlington and another who will be in junior high at Arlington.

Is it me, or does there seem to be more teachers who have kids going to other schools these days? Seems like way back when, if you taught at a school, your kids went there. And we also have a lot of coaches who teach at other schools. Just a sign of the times?

Sadly in today's "What have you done for me lately" mentality... makes the days of coaches and/or teachers putting 30+ years in at one district almost an impossibility.

Teachers will definitely put 30+ years in at one district if they stay more the 5-6 years. After that, it is unlikely a district will hire them due to the cost. The exceptions are teachers who can/will coach.

"Teachers will definitely put 30+ years in at one district if they stay more the 5-6 years. After that, it is unlikely a district will hire them due to the cost.
