Everyone on here has to agree that if Julian McGarvey played soccer they would have lost the state championship.

72-67 in Double OT!
Ottoville played very well. Crestview lead the whole game and Ottoville came back to hit a 3 and go up by 1 with like 2 min left.
Crestview's both Etzler brothers came up huge hitting desperation 3's to send it to OT and then double OT. WOW!!!!!

Ottoville played them tough. They ended 18-6 best record in last 10 years probably. Plus the program should be good the next 3 years at least. Good luck Crestview...

Hopefully the freshman from Ottoville is ok. Heard he left the first quarter with an apparent knee injury. For Ottoville to play as good as they did down the stretch of this game with out him was something.

They didn’t play well against parkway. They let Ottoville back in the game last night with stupid TOs and some quick shots.
Hicksville could pull this upset.
I’m taking Hicksville by 3.

I gotta be honest with ya ... I saw OV 4 times. IMO, they played better when he wasn't in. He can block a few shots and grab some boards, but he doesn't bring much on the offensive end. Definite room for growth as an offensive threat.
Ya I couldn’t disagree more. Clearly you didn’t watch enough games because he’s a very good shooter and ball handler for his size. He brings a lot to the offensive end. Not to mention a pretty good defender. It’s funny, you think you know everything based on just watching a few games. By the way which games were they? Does he need improvement? Sure he’s only a freshman, I think his inside game needs work. But I will say this he’s good enough that not having him hurts the team. He’s made some big shots during the season towards the end of games that not having him at the end of this game did hurt.

I’m beginning to think now that it wouldn’t be much of an upset. Hicksville is playing well and Crestview kind of taking a step back. I always thought that the top 6 teams in this district were very close.

Sterio,
I think the freshman you are talking about plays like a freshman.....I cannot be a good judge as I have only seen Ottoville 3 times, but in those games he didn’t show me a lot....I thought he was tentative and thought he played soft, but hey.....he’s a freshman and will improve!!!!!

How quick mysterio forgets that he said Hicksville sucks (not in that exact wording but we know what you meant).
Ya I never said that. I was making a case as to saying certain teams were better but never did I say Hicksville was no good. But nice try.

See that’s the problem. I don’t think you can make a fair judgment on a player if you only seen him 3-4 times. Even a senior. I will say flounder part of what you said is true but like we both said he’s a freshman. He’s a very nice player for a freshman. Good on both sides of the floor. The point I was trying to make was that the team is better when he’s playing.
