I'm sure VB has something.

Way too early to tell.

Up and coming All-Star Freshman? One comes to mind from VB by the name of Andrew Shroll. This kid is going to be a leader in the years to come! He'll be a sophmore next year. As for Freshman next year, I dunno how many kids VB will get. We're losing a lot of kids to golf and football! Let's hope they come out with numbers, though...

My early favorites are the Riverdale Falcons....I think they return alot of players and they tied for it this season. Ada will be up there as well...don't know about Cory.

Word is that Cory may not have enough to field a team. Many seniors, and few eighth graders playing.

I've also heard that CR won't have enough to field a team next year and I've also heard that coach samsal is finished after the season is over. I guess he and his wife moved to florida during the summer and he came back up here just to coach soccer this year. Either way it doesn't look good for CR next year.

And even though PG isn't in the NCOSA I'm 90% sure we won't have a team next year and that will more than likely be the end of our program. Oh well we suck every year anyway, maybe now our football program will get good again.

I dont see Cory not having a team. How many people who will go out for this team knowing that they have a good chance to letter because so many people are gone?

Riverdale only graduates three starters... (Thomas, Shuck, Gil) Definitely be some good teams returning next year in Ada, VB, and the dale'
Beets, Bears, Battle Star Galactica!

Cory Will have a team, but low in numbers. I heard that a few Arlington kids are moving to Cory Rawson just to play soccer because they dont have a soccer program. If not, its going to be a few years before another good CR team comes long due to lack of younger kids interested in the sport.

So can we effectivley say that CR will have a team but will be facing a few years like VB has the past two seasons?

I have heard that Cory Rawson may not have enough next year to field a team as well. I also know for a fact that Samsul will not be back next year after talking to him at the district meeting. I haven't heard anything about kids coming from Arlingtion but that should be a boost for numbers. I don't see it really helping them but who knows.

As for VB, I am sorry I don't see much of anything coming up for a while in VB. They are always the talk of the league and I haven't seen much from them the last couple of years to convince me they are a contender.

Riverdale is oviously the front runner to win in it. Only losing three starters from a league co-chamiponship has Riverdale sitting pretty at the top. If CR doesn't field a team then I like Riverdale.

However, Ada is bringing back Clum and has a nice set of younger players who actually played better then the upper classmen at times this year. Austin Everhart is a diamond in the rough and a quality goalie. Talking with Ada's assistant coach once he put Everhart in goal the JV's never got scored on. Now, I know we are talking JV but he is just as quality of a player on the field as in the goal. I like Ada to be a sleeper in the league this year if they can get things going and have another successful year. Riverdale will be the deciding game for the league if CR doesn't field a team.

Predictions: Ada, Riverdale, CR (if they field a team), VB and then the rest of the league.

When the league comes down to one game. That's kind of sad.
