Is Hicksville the best team? How about Antwerp and Wayne Trace who play each other in a week? Edgerton capable of any shockers?

It will depend a lot on which Antwerp team shows up in my opinion... If the team that lost to Fayette and only beat Edon by ten shows up their probably in trouble. But if the team that rolled Ottoville, and scored 52 in the 2nd half against Fairview shows up this will be a real interesting game.

Agree.....could be very interesting. I’ll bet it’ll be a nice crowd even though it’s a Thursday night!

Good teams, what ever happened to Ayresville?

Ayersville finally got a new much needed gymnasium. Unfortunately their team just isn’t very talented this year.

Fairview over WT is a little surprising... But the youth on that FV team is a gritty physical bunch... Should be a fun second half of the league season.

It's just so hard to compare these teams to teams like Crestview or the MAC teams because their schedules are just so weak. Other than Columbus Grove and Lincolnview Wayne Trace hasn't beaten any decent teams outside of the GMC. Hicksville really hasn't beaten anyone that could really be called a "good" win. They have a chance to get a good W at Crestview in a couple weeks. At least Fairview has stepped up and played some out of conference competition (Wauseon, Archbold and Defiance) though they lost them all by big margins. Just really can't see any of these three being much of a factor come tourney time

I agree with Hicksville’s schedule being no where comparable to a MAC schedule or even a decent schedule... But before I slept on them too much if you look back to last year they knocked a MAC school out of the sectional finals (Delphos St. John’s) and also it took a buzzer beater from a Crestview team to knock them off in the district finals. With the Aces going back north this year in the tournament, time will tell what kind of run they can make.

I still say the D4 Bowling Green Regional will be:

Crestview
Hicksville
Maumee Valley Country Day
Columbus Grove

And for Hicksville, a trip to Regionals would be SO cool because they haven’t been there since like World War II

Literally

And that’s the truth! Moving North definitely helps them but it will not be a cake walk!

Title on the line this Friday at Hicksville as Wayne Trace comes in. The Aces are 6-0 and WT is 5-1. Hicksville is already guaranteed a share, but if the bear the Raiders, they get it all to themselves. Should be a good game!
