Next year's class, barring action from the NCAA will have all world Greg Oden and Mike Conley from Indianapolis Lawrence North, currently 15-0 and winners of 31 straight last time I checked, David Lighty from Cleveland VASJ and Daeqan Cook from Dayton Dunbar, and 6'9" Othello Hunter from Hillsbourogh Community College in Tampa.
Matta doesn't seem content with just this year's season class, since Oden will probably just make OSU a stepping stone for early entry to the NBA. . . . .this year's junior class led by Jon Diebler of Upper Sandusky who has given a verbal and the Bucks really would like to grab 6'9" Dallas Lauderdale of Solon and 7'1" Kosta Koufas of Canton GlenOak from the junior class. Before Koufas broke his foot about 3 weeks ago he was averaging 25 pts,13 rebounds and 7 blocks per game, Lauderdale, a close friend of David Lighty, averages about 22 ppg and 10 rebounds for undefeated Solon. Diebler is all ready an Ohio legend and averages in the 30+ area and who doesn't need a 6'7" point guard???? OSU also covets off guard Rakim Sanders a 6'4" player Barrington RI and he has been offered already. Supposedly OSU waiting on Sanders is the reason they have not offerred Dante Jackson, the 6'5" point guard from Greenfield McClain. From the junior class the Bucks have also offered 7'1" Solomon Alibi (what a great name) from Nigeria. . .Alibi is still learning the game but has a world of potential and another year of HS to perfect his game, he is playing for a private school in Montverde, Florida.
Down to the sophomore class they still have a verbal committment from BJ Mullens of Columbus World Harvest Prep, another nearly 7 foot project. Another current sophomore OSU is closely watching is 6'8" forward Delvon Roe from Lakewood St Ed's who, as a soph is averaging 19.6 ppg and 11.3 rebounds for a very solid Lakewood St Ed's team.
I don't see any chance whatsoever of O.J. Mayo or any of his sidekicks giving OSU a glance. . .he will likely play 1 year and go directly to the NBA for certain. . . .where is anybody's guess, had Huggins remained at UC I would have guessed there, but now who knows. . . .Louisville or West Va would be as good a guess as anywhere.

Alas, my secret is out.
"JB's my name and scouting is my game!". . . . . .(I wish.)
I just follow high school and college hoops with a passion, nothing beyond that.
