Serious Region 16 playoff implications for OG. If they lose, they have a high probability of missing the playoffs at 8-2.

Wapak offense is making fewer mistakes and the defense is still kicking butt. But need to stop the back to back penalties.

OG will be very motivated after the Kenton loss. Tried to tell some OG posters in another thread how good that Kenton D was, but they didn't believe it. Coach Shriner will have them ready to play.
As for the Redskins, the offense is getting better each week. But as Chilidog said, we have to cut down on the penalties. We win the turnover battle, I like our chances a lot.
Our defense is very good. Maybe not as physical as Kenton, but not far off. I think we are better in the back end with Lauck, Morgan, and hopefully the return of Lotridge. Be a great matchup with the OG wrs.
Redskins in a close one.

This will be a close game.Wapak caught Kenton at the right time.If it wasn't for the weather postponement I think Kenton wins that game.It is something though that as great as everyone thinks frye is wapak will at least win a share of the wbl if not out right.

Wapak peaking right now and won't lose at home. 31-21 Redskins

A little disappointed with the Titan showing last week. Im hopping the Titans can bounce back. Not really feeling it though. Not sure they can put up the points. Running game has been nonexistent (except for Defiance game). Tough to pass against good teams without good running game. I'm thinking Wapak 28-Titans 10......(Mitchell Niese may be the best kicker in WBL)

Wapak has a nice kicker as well! 6 field goals and perfect on pat attempts. He is good from 35 and in possibly a bit further!

I was looking at other threads and cannot find any Ottawa fans not believing in Kenton's defense. I think anyone who pays attention knew that you can never sleep on Kenton. Their defense was showing against Wapak. Wapak was just too good that soon in the season. If Kenton played them now the outcome could be totally different.

Wapak will win this game. OG may give them more then they gave Kenton. But, OG just not powerful enough. Will be a good game imo

You don't think Wapak hasn't improved since that game?

I think you are spot on with this post
Although nobody that I saw said the Kenton defense wasn't strong there were a few that had OG scoring in the 30's
That defense would be tough to get 4+ scores against.
The outcome may be different if Wapak and Kenton played today but I do believe that the Wapak offense has come a long way since that game, in particular the personnel substitution roles and the passing game.
Pass protection was rarely needed with the prior staff and was certainly not a priority.
The O line has come a long way in that regard.
This game will be a great test on both sides of the ball/
OG does a great job of moving the pocket and throwing on the run, very tough to defend
Their defense is always tough and physical so it will be a great challenge to sustain long drives
Expect a hard hitting affair

I feel it will come down to Wapak finishing their drives and staying away from costly penalties back to back. Can get away with that against lesser teams but OG is a solid team. I think Wapak will win 24 to 17.

Yes I think Wapak too have improved tremendously. No one is doubting how tough Wapak is. I was just making a statement about Kenton since we played them first.

I'm afraid I have to take Wapak by 10. Could be closer but I doubt it.
