What a miserable night to watch games... they were sure fun to play when it was wet and rainy. Coach Smuckers has Bluffton playing well I see, not a shock there!

Big wins for both Riverdale & Bluffton.
Bluffton is now 7-0 against non-WBL teams. They'll be interesting come tournament time.

Interesting DIII scores! That'll make the polls change up a bit. Good win, Toffee!

Great win Toffee, it seems no one short of Ottawa Hills wants to stand out in D3....VB loss to Ft, Riverdale beats Ft, Bluffton beats VB....plus Kalida's roller coaster.

Bluffton home v O-G (WBL) tomorrow. Liberty Benton off their win at O-G goes to the Ft on Sat....

As for WBL, one more win by O-G will eliminate St Marys. Their next league game is home v Wapak on Monday.

Here is how the WBL shakes out for the contenders.

O-G 6-0-0 18pts (H v Wapak, @Elida, H v St Marys)
Wapak 5-1-0 15pts (@ OG, H v St Marys, @VW)
Celina 4-2-0 12pts (@VW, @Shawnee, H v Kenton)
St Marys 3-1-2 11pts (H v Defiance, @Wapak, @O-G)
Elida 3-2-1 10pts (H v Kenton, H v O-G, @Bath)
All others are eliminated

Elida and St Marys needs a lot of help!
Celina has the easiest road but needs help
Wapak has tough road.

A Wapak Loss to O-G will give O-G no worse than a share of the title even if they lose their final 2. If that happens Wapak and Celina could still tie. AND St Marys and Elida would be eliminated.

A Wapak win creates an 18 pt tie at the top. Assuming all else win Celina (15), St Marys (14) and Elida (13) still have hope.

A Wapak- OG tie (16) and(19) pts respectively. Assuming all others win Celina (15), St Marys (14), Elida (13) are all still alive.

Thanks formercoach... we needed a strong win.

G2G... Archbold has been flying after an unsteady start (9 straight shutouts) and head to Ottawa Hills on Saturday. Will answer many questions.

I got a good eye-full of Bluffton last Thursday...don't buy the 5 losses as any kind of indicator as to their worth. Their front 6 players are something to admire when in full flight.
