According to GalionLive.com the Tigers will join the MOAC Red with US, Buckeye Valley, Jonathan Alder, Fairbanks, Pleasant, North Union and River Valley.
Always a watchful eyes on those Tiffin Calvert Senecas, Marion Local Flyers, Fort Loramie Redskins , New Albany Eagles.

This may be a little off-topic, but...with 6 current NCC teams leaving to form a new "Northern 10 League", and Galion and Upper heading to the MOAC, that leaves only Ontario and Lucas in a 2-team NCC. At this point, the NCC has basically disappeared. I can't imagine Ontario and Lucas being able to attract other teams to join them to save the existence of the NCC...rather, I look for these two schools to look for a new home (whether together or separately).

My question is this...with Wynford, Buckeye Central, Colonel Crawford, and Riverdale being charter members of the NCC (since the early 60's), and Ridgedale, Carey and Mohawk (also charter members, but out of the NCC since the 80's) plus Crestline (NCC member since the 80's) each having a long history with the league...

Is it a possibility that the new league being called the Northern 10 instead be able to call themselves the North Central Conference...IF, in fact, the current NCC DOES disband completely?

Like I said...a bit off-topic, but a very related topic.

Sounds as though Ontario could be NOL-bound.

Riverdale still hasn't had their board approve the move to the N10 and neither has Bucyrus.

The school newsletter did talk about the formation of the N10, and our inclusion in it. Maybe the board is holding off, just in case the BVC looks into expansion. I think that Riverdale is a NATURAL fit in the BVC (Mount Blanchard was once in the same conference, the Little 10, with all of the old Hancock County schools), and travel would be GREATLY shortened...but our membership in the NCC, and our 40+ year relationship with the NCC schools is something to consider also. There is a thread on here asking if the BVC should expand. I really think that IF the BVC is going to consider expansion, this would be the perfect time (with all of the movement that has been happening lately).

I'd expect Riverdale to get a call shortly...

What about Carey? I know their board approved the N10. Would Riverdale to the BVC change that?

I would really like to see Riverdale and Carey go to BVC.

Galion and East Knox officially invited to the MOAC now, each will accept at next school board meeting. Upper Sandusky has officially accepted as of Feb. 13th.
