Sources want me to go public and name names of parents pissed about playing time, what should I do? Big names on the list and all info is confirmed with several parents piling on.... also just confirmed parents are complaining its insane Tyson is athletic director and coach, huge conflict of Interest, Parents are pissed, names have been confirmed to this list as well, should I make this info public? Hint one of the kids is also the quarterback of football team.

YES. I'm sick of parents bitching and complaining about stuff behind closed doors to others. If they have a LEGITIMATE complaint, they shouldn't be afraid to have their names associated with it. This happens everywhere, especially here in Kalida, and it is ruining high school sports. I have no idea why anyone wants to coach nowadays because of all the crap that goes with it.

I would love whiny parents to be named, illuminated, and properly chastised. This is a refreshing change from the typical coach bashing.

Just list the O-G parents that are not whining. It'll be a lot shorter.

How is being AD and head coach a conflict of interest?

yes, not to mention the coach in question has been a HC for 5 years in that time he has been to 2 regionals and to state twice, with one state title......and this season's team is looking at 16-6 as a final record, not too shabby when you consider the losses are to LCC, Lima Sr., Defiance, Celina, Napoleon and Col. Grove. Outside of Nap and Grove the others are state ranked and in higher divisions.

So go ahead, truthbetold, name these parents. It will just make them look that much more clueless.

Yeah.....that's ridiculous. I've known many coaches......football and basketball.....that are/were AD and coach. What's wrong with that?? Buti at Defiance, Krauss at Archbold, Wayne at Holgate, Linder at Wayne Trace.....back in the day Korto at Kalida. What's the big deal??

Oh the humanity ... They have to "suffer" thru a 16-6 season... Probably only end up in district finals or regional...

Coaches play who they feel are the best players. They have years of experience making unbiased decisions concerning how effective a player is on the court and what their best role for the team is. Parents have ZERO years of making unbiased decisions about their precious son.

Coaches have made these decisions hundreds of times. They also want to win. No they aren't perfect, but they are in a better position to make that decision than a parent.

If parents think their kid should be playing more, then they need to realize that their kid didn't do enough to earn it.

And if they did work really hard, then they need to realize that sometimes other kids are just better. It's an important life lesson and its better to learn how to deal with this as a high school basketball player rather than later on in their adult lives.

Not everybody gets hired when they apply for a job. Not everybody gets promoted. Not everybody gets a raise.

Why would you even want to bring this up???
Tyson is AD and Coach what the hell makes difference???
How is that a conflict???
Tyson is a good AD, great coach, and hell of a guy period!!!
In all sports any decision is going to be questioned!!!
There is one kid on JV that should be playing Varsity and getting playing time.
Many peopel have said this. But he takes it with grace and does great work on the court!!!
He is probably one of the most unselfish players i have seen in long time.
His parents understand and he does to. Next year he will have his chance.
So all coaching decisions are not going to satisfy every parent, player, fan but the coach makes it for a reason and his reason should not be questioned.
Tyson will be both AD and Coach for as long as he wants. So drop it and quit hating.
As far as Parents go who gives two *******s what parents say or do. it is about the kids.
Maybe at a certain point one of the kids hit a skid and another is playing well. Who knows!!! Who care!!!
And since you want to say Hint he is QB that is obvious.

His parents Steve and Lynette are great people.
They are always nice and make you feel welcome.

OG players, parents, coaches, fans will all come together when it counts and thats tourney time.
Let OG basketball records, tourney runs, and state titles speak for themselves.

I seen in one of your post you said you been watching OG basketball for 40yrs.
So you are one of those older people in stands talking crap all the time and bashing the players.
HMMMMMM now i get it because if you werent older and people didnt have patience and respect they probably would Slap you.
Leave the dam kids alone. they are in HS let them play and enjoy their HS years.
What do you old ass people get from bashing players.
and when we win we dont here any heckling.
I for one have heard some pretty nast things come from stands about kids.
I know if i ever hear anyone bash cetain players i tell them keep dam opinion to self.
If OG wins what do you get out of it???????????????????????????????
