In the past couple of years LB has knocked the falcons out of the tourney...

LB is still unbeaten this year..

I got to watch one of the regular season games this year of the match up and honestly I think the facons gave the eagles too much respect.. If riverdale comes to play I think they can pull a big upset here...

heres my 2 cents. I have not seen LB play this year. Last year I wached them 3 times. Anything I say is based on scores and common apponents. Our girls really wanted to give LB a try. Wauseon missed 3 one vs keeper oportunities agienst Riverdale, one in OT. So i dont know, Ill go out on a twig and say Riverdale gets away with enough holding, pushing and tripping to win if they had bettter goal keeping.

Well my prediction was 4-1 LB wins but hey I knew there was going to be 5 goals scored but I didn't know it would end up Liberty Benton 5 Riverdale 0............

Now I will tip my hat to Riverdale as they played with alot of heart & aggression tonite and hung in the first half down 2. Riverdales #10 forward was holding, pushing and slide tackeling LB's A.Hyde. most of the nite but I must say the officials pretty much let it go both ways. Only 2 yellow cards handed out tonite and believe or not they were not against LB....LB controled the field the first half, limited SOG from Riverdale to a couple. LB's K.Taylor (GK) is playing with a torn ACL and I must say that the heart of Kelly is manifesting itself beyond the pain she is experiencing. Thats the sign of a true competitor & warrior!!!! Great game girls!!!

Mr.Bigjohnson,

Your record is not doing well, have you been smoking to much?? LOL whistling.gif

Congrats L-B...we'll see you in BB season.

Here's hoping that you continue far into the tourney so you don't get too much of a head-start on our girls practicing basketball. I think most of your BB team plays soccer, right? Most of our girls BB team plays volleyball (although a few play soccer and one is on the CC team). I also wish Riverdale's volleyball team a successful tourney run, so maybe BOTH BB teams will start practicing about the same time....sound good to you??

Someday the participants in this forum and on the huddle will learn to respect the Lady Eagles Soccer Team. I know I have learned my lesson. Good luck against OG.

Will that "someday" last in to next season?
I do respect LB. I do not respect their schedule.

lb is coached well. hasnt he only been there for 3 years? and he already has them playing his game plan and their touches are so much better than any team ive seen. congrats to lb.

as for riverdale. i know that there were ten seniors on the team last night that wanted it really bad, but thats what happpens when you have 4 golden opportunities in the first half and dont put them away. as for # 10 pushing and such... she did nothing that other players on the field were doing.

congrats and hopefully you represent the findlay area well.

Oh I had the BLUES last nite when I typed the post but your right bluesforlife it was going both ways and surprisingly LB had more calls going their way then the dale......

On the coach thing yes this is the third year for Coach Laracco and can you believe LB was wanting the Riverdale coach before they hired Coach Larocco...Both good coaches but I must admit Coach Larocco as young as he is in my humble opinion has made leaps and bounds making the LB girls soccer program successful. NW Ohio has a long ways to go compared to other parts of the state but I think they are on the right track!!

Now now Indiangiver take that back what you just typed!!! Thanks for respecting LB but you know there's a but and no not my butt, but the schedule thing.......I would respect Lake, Genoa,Archbold and yes I would respect the Riverdale Falcons even though some of their students stole LB signs made by the parents that were put in place along the way to Ottawa!!! That ticked me off! But as they say kids will be kids and what goes around comes around and I guess the 5-0 thump is what came around....LOL

Ohhhh, I can't wait till BB season when our girls take it out on the Dales of Mt.Blanchard!!!

Do you know for a fact that it was riverdale students? If not i wouldn't go around throwing accusations like that. Granted kids will be kids but to just openly say it was students from riverdale and not know it. I find it completely disrespectful to do so. And if it was kids from riverdale i personally apologize. We do not condone such acts.

'morning, Gracie...

I believe your girls "took it out on the Dales" last year...if that's what you want to call it...

Believe me, last year was an UNCHARACTERISTIC game for the Lady Falcons. If both teams play an average game, Riverdale will do the "taking out".

See ya at the Falcon's nest!

Well its too bad after reviewing the pictures I took of a hand ball from lb's #23 right in front of the goalie (plain as day!)...her hands straight up in the air..and no call...with the riverdale coaches letting the official on their side know it...who did not blow the whistle...could have been a different ball game if the call was made...you never know. and as for number #10 what she did was what you would call playing soccer...and very good at it I must say! She will be very missed next year. As for winning the game lb you are very sore winners!!!!
