Flight Crew it's funny I did scroll down for the comments..and well I guess it was because you said not to. It doesn't seem that long ago that this site was was of neigh sayers that he wouldn't even see the floor at Ohio State. I realize this is a bigger hill to claimb so critics please don't jump on that. The fact remains he is pursuing a dream that lots of athletes will love to have. So people can doubt all they want but he is still getting up every morning and playing basketball, and if succeeds to the next level or not he can't look back and think I could have done more.

Has anyone ever thought just his signing bonus will pay for medical college. Let's say he plays for a year or two, gives it his all then knows it's not what he wants. He can return to medical school and have the funds to pay for it in full. It's win win in my opinion

He may be living on his signing bonus. Those D-leagers don't make much.

There are basically 3 classifications in the d league and each has a different salary. They are $25,5000, $19,000 and $13,000. They also get insurance, housing and a modest $40/day per diem.

Well Cruz won last night in a nice comeback. Craft hit three 3's last night and finished with 15 points. he may have struggled from the beyond the arc during the season, but in the playoffs he has shot better. And even at this level he can still irritate, and create turnovers. He plays the majority of the game, finds a way to just do enough to contribute on offense. I realize it is the D-league, but it is the next level, and so far he seems to still be able to find his niche, and compete. Still playing the game, and is still proving to people he belongs. They go back to Cruz for the next two games, next one is Sunday night on ESPNNews
