I love him. Rare that an analyst has the guts to say what he thinks and stand by it. I respect him a hell of a lot more than I do any of those other jokers.
Have a thought and stick to it, don't waffle.
Oh and boo hoo, god forbid someone dislike the almighty big 10 +30

TiGger..I too have always appreciated his straight forwardness and not afraid to say what is on his mind, but to just spew out that the Big Ten is over rated without backing it up with stats, facts or what have you, is not good journalism. If he would have said "IMO the Big Ten is not as good as PAC 12, ACC or whatever" is fine..but he did not. He flat out stated they were over rated and would not make it very far in tourney(big 10 teams) Back it up Chuckie....

I gotta say, I got tired of hearing him non stop, but with only 1 Big Ten team alive with a shot at the Final Four, OSU downright choking away a spot that was practically given to them with all the upsets, and Michigan no sure thing to beat Florida, he's looking like he's right.
Now I guess if you want to get technical you could say that only 1 Big Ten team was SUPPOSED to get to the Final Four based on seedings(Indiana), 2 were supposed to get to the Elite 8(IU and OSU) and the top 4 to the Sweet 16 and therefore they're right on target....but the talk all year was about how the league would get multiple Final Four teams with a slight shot at 4. They were a great league all year and I still think they were the best. But the tournament results haven't backed it up.

In today's world of political correctness Charles is a pleasure to listen to. He does not worry about what the politically correct thing is to say. So what if he thinks the Big Ten is over rated. It is his opinion and he is one of the few that has the balls to share his true opinion. It is what he thinks, not what he thinks he should think in order to keep his job.
I think that is hard to follow!

CBS' studio show would be fine with Greg Gumbel as host and Greg Anthony as analyst. None of the other three bring anything worthwhile to the table.
