Sounded like Hiland really crashes the boards. Can the Devils hold their own? Will the pressure and BIG STAGE get to Atown? I think the Devils will fall short. Hope not, but my gut instinct says "been there, done that" Hiland experience at this level makes the difference. Good Luck Arlington !

prediction:
Hiland 54
Arlington 46

Red,
I think Arlington is actually the favorite in this one............later tonight when Flound and i go over over our cribs I think we'll both come to the same conclusion.....
wouldn't it be something if the boys team could win tomorrow night (and I believe they will) and then beat the Hiland boys team down at state?.........that would
set Ohio sports on their ear!.........RM

I also think Arlington has a very good chance of winning this one (girls, that is). I have a neice on the girls' team and a nephew on the boys' team, so it's pretty exciting.

I watched the Hiland game and thought I was watching Arlington...very good ball pressure, good shooters and if course well coached.

Should be a fun game to watch, Arlington will need to shoot it a bit better from 3 pr land to win but I expect we will.

Arlington's runs been amazing. Just think a few weeks ago in the district semi-final, Arlington was down 3 with time running out to Holgate. Jessica Hunter hit a 3 to push it to overtime where the Red Devils prevail. She misses that shot, or Holgate uses the foul stragety and this run could have ended a few weeks ago.

Postplayer,

I been telling everyone all season that Arlington remind me of BH just not as deep as Berlin usually is. I know when they beat us at state 3 years ago they played 10 girls and lost very little with any of them. The whole game it is whistle 3 girls come in, another whistle 3 more girls come in, another whistle 4 girls come in, and it never stops. The difference is Berlin has been playing like this for years and the schools around here are just now trying to catch up. I just think its amaizing how they develope talent and depth EVERY year. I have not seen them play this year but I'm sure its more of the same. Anyways, I'm rooting for your girls and hoping they bring home the gold to NWO. Good Luck and may all your girls leave the floor healthy.

As a Hiland fan, this is the Hiland I've seen a lot this year...bad. Hard to believe Hiland beat Arlington in a summer shootout.

Arlington has a nice team, but this isn't the strongest D4 final I've seen and that's being kind.
