I saw the weather forecast for Thursday and thought the same thing. Better find a course that drains well though, could be a soggy one.

I swore off golfing in January and February about 20 years ago. It was the first week in February and the temperature got up into the 50's on a Saturday. I went to the course and found about 40 golfers waiting on the first tee. When we finally got going, there was an almost endless wait after each shot and the course was muddy and in pretty bad shape. Greens were brown and bumpy. Just wasn't a good experience. I'd rather play when it was 35 degrees in early December and the greens were still recently mowed and the course still in good shape. I'll start hitting the driving range in March and take in a few practice rounds before the leagues get started in April.

Hurry up Springtime!

Wouldn't need it on bats either if they came with Golf Pride full cord victory grips. smile.gif
