A couple weeks ago in the the Texas/Detroit game in which Detroit threw the flag on a scoring play and nullifying the review of a blown official's call in the which the player was clearly down. What if Detroit had not thrown the flag, but Texas would have thrown it? (Texas knowing that if the scoring play was reviewed it would be overturned and called back to where the player was tackled)

The same result. Texas would be flagged for challenging, (although it would never happen because the original call went their way) and the original call would stand

That is my point. If Detroit had not thrown the flag, the touchdown would have been overturned due to the review. My question is what would have happened if Texas had thrown the flag. They also knew the player was downed and that the play would be review, thus negating the score. They did not want the play review. So, if Texas throws the flag, the score stands since it cannot be reviewed. Is this correct?

The end result would be the same reguardless of who threw the flag, since the rule is that a thrown flag negates any possibility of a replay

Who is this Texas you guys speak of? No team in the NFL is called Texas. Either Dallas or Houston. I am guessing you mean the Houston TEXANS considering that is who Detroit played this year.
