Perrysburg is a solid D- I program and looking at their schedule OG is the only D- 3 team the yellow jackets. This game has traditionally been played over Christmas break, but with the shakeup with the NLL and Toledo City schools it has been put at the end of the season. I am glad P'burg has decided to continue this series, because it has been a competitive one since the two teams began playing back in 2004. The titans have been playing good ball recently, winners of 3 in a row and 7 of the past 8.
The series stands at 4-4..........the titans only win at Perrysburg was back in 2003-04 the state champion team with the Pollitz twins. It's going to be tough one for the titans.

They lost to Sylvania Northview and Start back to back and played a tough Anthony Wayne team tonight.
I'm confident OG will play well vs them tomorrow night.

The loss to Northview is a head-scratcher, a team they had beaten by 40 earlier in the season, but a nice win over AW tonight. Both teams coming off tough league games, we'll see who still has their legs on Saturday night. If I'm not mistaken this is a tripleheader beginning with the freshman at 4:00.

I believe the game was moved to late Feb. due to the opportunity that O-G vs. Grove had to play at the Stroh. P-burg honored O-G's request to move the date.
Yes triple header - Freshman start at 4:30 not 4:00

This non-league for the Titans like many on their schedule prepares them for the tournament run ahead. Perrysburg has always been at least since Dave Boyce has been there a very competitive team that plays a tremendous non-league schedule themselves in addition to the rigors of the Northern Lakes League. More then likely the Jackets will be favored in this game because of the home court advantage. Either way it should be a great matchup.
