What are some of the best HS or College Pre-Game/Starting Line up traditions new or old. I've been to several schools this year and most schools do the same thing or nothing special. Anyone know any schools that do anything cool?

OG doesn't do it anymore....but they used to have a student dressed up as the Titan mascot who got carried around the gym on a board by 6 other guys. I'm guessing it ended due to "safety concerns"....lol. I'm not sure exactly when, but I'm thinking it ended in the early 90's.

ONU turns out all the lights in the arena and use a spotlight to shine on the player being introduced. I have always liked it.

Yes, as does Convoy Crestview. Very cool, the students and players really get into it.

New London fans stand from the pregame introductions....until they make their first basket.....or at least they did until last year when they went til :30 left in the first quarter against OG. Not sure if they still do that....lol

Yeah, that was a big thing in the 1990's a few schools did it and I never understood it........especially if a team would not score for a minute or two (or more as stated above). It just made the fans look silly, IMO.

Bath does the line ups with the music the Bulls used to use in the Jordan era.

Edit: At least they do for the girls. Not sure about boys.

And Tony Hammer with the announcing the lineups. He gives just as much emphasis to the away squad as the home side.
