I'd rather shower at Penn State than root for Michigan.

I suppose you're also for no longer judging Rae Carruth for the life he took, what, 10 years ago?
How many serial killers report that they've "turned to God" some ten, twenty, etc years later?
Sick of people "rushing to judge" all those folks?

There's a distinct difference. Lewis never took a life.

Sorry, but Lewis was definitely at the scene...so who really knows. I believe no one was convicted, if I remember correctly. Lewis was there, so I have my suspicions......and I believe many people feel the same way....if you like Lewis fine, but I don't because things just didn't add up at the time of the crime!!!!

So the families of the two people killed (from somewhere like Cleveland or that general area, by the way) are still without closure as to who killed their loved ones. Ray Lewis, on the other hand, the closest link to their deaths, roams free and is celebrated by the league.
Simply absurd and a stain on the NFL every day...

At a MINIMUM he should have been tried as an accessory to murder. He was there, no argument...he did not report it, he destroyed eveidence, ....He should have been tried and found guilty of murder. I have no qualms saying that and saying he should have never played another down in football after the crime. No way does this man ( and I use that word very loosely) deserve any accolades whatsoever

Duh.......
You summed it up pretty good....pretty much the same story I heard....the only thing you might have left out was that Ray probably was in tears when he took the stand and proclaimed how he found god......this guy sickens me to no end, and like Duh said....the NFL uses him as a poster child....what a travesty.....his judgement day will come!!!!!
