I am not saying they should be ranked in baseballer4life's poll......but how about Ft. Jennings? Under new coach Ryan Schroeder the musketeers may be the most improved team in the area, with two 20 pt. wins and a big win over Crestview last night as well as a close loss at undefeated Ottoville.

The game at Ottoville wasn’t as close as the scoreboard displayed. But either way both Ottoville and Jennings are better than last year.

But I agree that if they can at least keep the Elida game under 10 point margin that would be a win for them.

Anyone think Lincolnview can make some noise? Sitting at 4-1 right now.
Yes they could but the next five games for them will tell alot and that can also be said for alot of teams in the area. But the district at Elida their in is loaded. As of now only 4 of the 11 teams look bad.

Agreed, they are not offensive at this point, ball movement not there AND key players not shooting well

Dare i say....biggest bust of Jeremy Best career at Crestview is happening right now. He has the most talented players he's probably ever had at Crestview...and maybe his worst coaching given his personel
Just my thoughts

How could this team be better than the 2014 State Champ? Just asking?

Sounds like there are "issues" at Lima Senior. Quincy is cracking down on grade problems and other troubles. Kids have been left home from games....suspended, etc. Some parents aren't taking well to this new policing of their kids and aren't happy with Q for ramping up the penalties for screwing up. Sounds like they also had a couple guys miss last night with the flu.
Kudos for whomever is stepping down on these kids. We have too many instances where the kids are not taking their school seriously. Most of these kids will not play college basketball, but they all need to be able to go out and get jobs some day. The only recourse for coaches and administrators is to take playing time away.

Maybe the kids are not as coachable as you think. Maybe parents, uncles, aunts, and others would rather give "suggestions" to the kids when they get home. Instead of telling them to listen to the coach and trust the process. Just saying.......

I'm not saying this is happening but overzealous fans/parents have been known to destroy teams that have high expectations placed on them.

Yes they are capable, they beat Elida and Versailles in pre season easily without their big gun,but how they fair in tournament will determine how talented they are.

CK, you dont honestly think preseason games are a good determining factor for how a team is going to be right? Both Elida and Versailles are clearly better than Crestview.

Just glad the dogs and cats are not in d4,cause if we had them in tournament we wouldn't even show up,since they are clearly better than us.

Truth hurts man, sorry.
Elida wins tonight 66-61. Ottoville is no joke thats for sure. They won't lose much this season.

Ottoville was up by 11 I believe at one point. Had a bad third quarter otherwise outplayed Elida for the other 3. Gotta play all 4. But either way it’s a good test for a team people were not sure about against a really good D2 team

Yes they kept it much closer than most expected. Tomorrow night will be a good test to see how they bounce back.
