good deal, bad deal?
You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the football field. - Jim Tressel

good deal, bad deal?

Well first of all the running back they got for him (Hollis) has close to 5 yds a carry over his first two years. He is a fullback with some moves and can catch the ball out of the backfield. The pick next year was sixth (not good), and a conditional in 2012. Obviously if he becomes their starter, the pick becomes better. (probably a 4th rather thatn a 6th). Quinn didn't know the west coast offense and had trouble with accuracy on passes over 25 yards and crossing routes. I'd say good deal since they didn't want him anyway and had stupidly picked up two new QB's before trying to unload him, therefore tipping their hand

From a Bronco fan's perspective ... I've never seen anything in Quinn that excited me. He was rumored to have been shopped about Denver last year. Although Josh McDaniels obviously likes him. You guys got a really nice well-rounded RB prospect who has an impact when on special teams. He's a player (offensive) that reminds me of Trusnik - young, can step in and start when called upon, and plays well. Hillis was expendable with Moreno, Buckhalter, Arrington, etc ahead of him on a depth chart. Holmgren knows QBs (Favre, Hasselbeck) and what it takes to get to a Super Bowl - and he got rid of a 2nd-year, former 1st rounder. That should tell you what Quinn was. The Broncos are taking a low cost gamble that Quinn might turn into something. The Browns have parlayed a 1st round pick into a 6th and a decent special teamer.

Good move for Browns.
I like how Holmgren handles things.

Poor Brady, gonna be sitting behind Orton AND Tebow, because Tebow surely ain't gonna be brought in as a 1st Rd. pick to not get at least 2nd team QB reps.

its good for both Quinn and the browns.
for Quinn he gets out of being the home town kid
and for the browns it let move with a new QB
let the DOGS Run.

Quinn stunk up the field last night. Tebow was much more poised.
