I don't really know too much about any incoming freshman.

Two from FJ that will be seeing alot of playing time this year....adam norbecks little brother austin norbeck at forward, i.e.(ryan kloeppel out with broken arm) austin is a very good younger player, and andrew huntsman back on d, very big for a freshman and athletic. these two will be a big help this year..

I heard that PG has a freshman that is starting and seeing alot of playing time. I think they said it is a Hovest and his older brother is a senior on the team (Goalie 4 ye letterman) Heard he has some wheels on him but personally I have not see them in action this season.

I'm not going to start bashing players or anything but I heard that Austin Norbeck has gotten lucky on some goals this year and he isn't a really a freshman stand-out.

Your saying FJ's JV has a lot of "really good players". They might have some pretty good ones but I'd say their all avg. besides a few. What is thier record anyway?

The Jennings JV record is 0-4. But the should of tied or won 2 of then. There first game was scored on a own goal. That game was played in Elida. The Continental game the defense had a huge letdown that led to a break away with an estimated time of 1min left in the 2nd half. So there is two games that they could of tied. Also to throw in the Continental game that they should of won with a couple break aways. But also Jennings got lucky with the Junior Keeper stopping 3-4 breakaways.

Gladiator. What are the names/# so i can keep an eye on them when i go to watch

Lumpy. I think you should ask yourself that question. Sounds like you know more about the team than I do explaining game by game how they did.

I really don't think any freshman should be on varsity. One because they are coming from SAY soccer which is completely different. Two they dont have the expierence of highschool games. Three some fresh arent matured enough their bodies need time structurally to adjust to the bone and muscle structure of a junior or senior. Thats my opinion

If you now look at FJ's record they are 4-4-1 they have made a real comback mostly to their better team play and being able too score multiple goals in a game. their first win was 3-0, their next was 4-0. then they tied new knoxville which then fj went on to beat ottoville in an upset game 2-1 and then they beat shawnee 2-1 in another upset game. As of late this young team has pulled together and should finish the season strong

sirlorddoom- i agree with you about freshman being too inexperienced, and having bodies just not ready for the physical play of juniors and seniors......from what i've seen, alot of freshmen seeing alot of varsity time seem to get hurt easier. although, after saying that, i think some of those freshmen really benefit from all the experience early on, but it may take a toll on their bodies at that time.

not only are they not up for the grueling exercise there going to get beat around because there not physically up to par as a senior or junior would be......the couple games ive seen they simple get moved off the ball by a bigger player or they dont have the stamina as an older athlete......im not going to say they dont deserve to play up at varsity i just dont think physically there ready to....
