Versailles won 13-0 over Arcanum in 5 innings. Only 1 error by the catcher on a third strike. Liette threw a perfect game with 11 strikeouts. Versailles is young but it looks like they may have a good chance to defend their MAC title.

Fort Jennings wins tonight 7-5 against Elida. They scored all 7 in the 4th inning I believe.

paulding let one slip away against lima shawnee, they led 5-1 going into the 7th, and gave up 5 to lose 6-5. A tough one to lose, but heard they looked good until the 7th. Hope they bounce back.

yeah....i do believe it was the first time in 6 or 7 years that Fort Jennings beat Elida. Elida played solid but Jennings had that big inning.

Jefferson beat Kalida 9 to 7 last night.

That is the first time I can remember in awhile. I remember pitching at WT back in the 90's and it was snowing. Kinda nuts.
No stats to say except that Louiselle and Mansfield each pitched about 3 innings and Hopkins pitched the last one. I believe the only run was drove in by a freshman, Howell, if I remember correctly. That was actually about the 3rd time seeing live pitching outside due to the weather.

When I left Ben was 1 for 1 with a single to right. We had Baden and R. Louiselle start as freshman last night and Howell came in late and drove in the only run. WT could hit but we were not making very solid contact. I had to leave after 3rd inning for bowling and heard the rest from coach. They play tonight at MC then I don't think again until Friday. Maybe I will see you there.

I'm surprised no one corrected me yet. It was actually only a no hitter because someone reached first base. wallbash.gif

Ft. Loramie beat Fairlawn 11-1 last night with Schemmel throwing a no hitter. He walked the bases loaded and they squeezed home a run, but other than the one inning he looked sharp. 9 K's.

Tonight Loramie edged Coldwater in a great game. 2-1 final with the last run scoring in the bottom of the 7th inning. Goldschmidt and Slavic were in a great pitching matchup, both pitchers with great stuff. It was a fun game to watch, that's for sure.

MC beat Continental tonight......

Score was 3-1 with 2 of those coming unearned in the first inning on a dropped pop fly. It was a good game with C-town threatening in the 7th with the bases loaded before MC shut it off.

Last night the Blue Jays came back with 5 runs in the 7th to beat Wapak 5-1. Nick Johnson got the W in a complete game 2-hitter.
