No imput from coach - hard to rate differently when no info provided. Van Vleet - 5th at State, McCormick not placing at state - reason for ranking as such. Sorry.

I thought Mccormick was 4th in 126 last year.

Nope. Go to OHSAA web site - 2012 State Championships Wrestling - see Div. III 126. State Qualifer -did not place. Thunderbird Invite coming up - if in same weight class - will determine ranking on mat. If not - the matter is moot.

I see Thurs. night. Kuhlman wrestled at 126 against Bath and Elida - went 1-1 - lost to Davis (Ba). I see Trace Plaugher (who had been at 126) and Kane, both bumped up to wrestle Pauff (E) and Stonehill, Garret (Bath). Trace went 1-1 on the night losing to Pauff; Kane went 2-0. Aurthur wrestled at 145 against Lowe (Ba) and won (so he'll be moving into the rankings), he then wrestled 152 against (E) and defeated Hartman. I think Kuhlman has been in and out of the line-up depending on where the Plaughers go (unless he's dropped to 120 - which I'm not aware of / haven't noticed.

Thanks so much for the quick response. I am thankful to all those that keep us updated on the Lima area wrestling results. Is there another site where you are getting match results? I know of Wapak's site and the WBL peg doesn't post individual results usually.

Born_to - go to Northwest District Wrestling Sports Buzz. Jamie Baker (Findlay Courier) does a nice job of posting NW wrestling results (updated daily) and provides links to many wrestling sites. Not everything there, but almost all info / links provided. You could also go to Yappi Sports, but like Rocket Corner - not many individual match results.

First off ...Kudos to you for putting together a very good list of area wrestlers...I know its got tobe hard grading each weight class. I believe there may be a couple discrepencies but one that seems to stand out would be Colin Ingram (113) at the very least he beat the Defiance wrestler and the St Mary's wrestler. Maybe he was suppose to stay under the radar, but on a side note he swept the Lakota Duels this past weekend against all Division 1 schools. :-) (Campbell County, KY, Wayne, Oak HIlls, and Springboro).

Bass - the rankings were determined on Wed., the night before Bath wrestled Defiance and Colin had just started his season not too long before that. His name was brought up - but, coaches wanted to wait until Thursday's match against Shawnee and Defiance. Lakota Duals, of course were on Sat. He will be in the next rankings, probably pretty high.

Thanks - we try - I'm sure we make some mistakes from time to time; but, imput from any and all is appreciated (as long as factual and unbiased). It's really difficult sometimes when coaches don't keep us up to date / wrestlers are dropping wt. classes - but, by the end of the season the rankings are pretty accurate.

Arthur wrestled 145 against Bath defeating Lowe, wrestled 152 vs Elida defeating Harmon - deserves to be in ratings, but where? Moves back and forth between 138 and 152 - things will settle down here in the next few weeks. Lahmon is wrestling well and may very well make the next ratings. He could / should make it to dist., but probably won't make it to state. Not to take anything away from him - just saying - Bath's dist. at Kettering Fairmont is loaded and most freshmen in the upper wts. usually don't fair too well, unless they are exceptionally talented. Hope he does - but I would be suprised.
