Kenton is 3-4 with the wildcat's 4 losses to teams with a combined 27-1 record.

Oh wow. Kenton should definitely fire him then. That's terrible. *sarcasm*

Just wondering, what's Kenton's all-time record in games not started by a Mauk at QB?

It's ol' chucklehead again!!!

Welcome back dalton ... the only time you post is to rip on Fackler. Did he not play your kid or something?

The only thing Fackler isn't doing is recruiting like Mauk did. Mauk was/is a scum bag, always has been, always will be. He got you results but he also enabled a culture for players to constantly skirt rules and harm other people.

Let's hop off that high horse and let the man coach.

Just wondering, what's Kenton's all-time record in games not started by a Mauk at QB?

The Mauk QB years were 1999-2002 and 2008-2011. Kenton made the playoffs 6 of those 8 years with a playoff record of 18-4, 2 state titles, 1 runner up, a regional final loss, and 2 second round losses. Kenton's overall playoff record - 28-9, with another runner up and 2 state semifinal losses. In the 8 Mauk years, one undefeated state championship, one other undefeated regular season, no losing seasons, one .500 record, 6 league titles, 4 outright league titles, including 4 straight league titles, that ties St. Marys for the 3rd longest streak behind St. Marys and Van Wert's 5 in a row. I don't know how many games the Mauks did not play, I think Ben might have been hurt for half of his sophomore year when they didn't make the playoffs. Overall, Kenton was 82-20 in those 8 years for a winning percentage of 80.4%.

Kenton has 5 playoff appearances outside of those 8 years, with a 10-5 record, including a state runner up, 2 state semifinal losses, and 2 first round losses. Overall, Kenton has 4 WBL titles in 66 other years when no Mauk was QB. I don't know Kenton's all time results, but it had a winning league record every year from 1993-2014, which is easily a league record by the way. According to WBLSports.com, Kenton's all time WBL record through last year is 292-284-10, with a record of 61-12 (83.6%) during the Mauk years, meaning it's 231-272-10 (46.0%) during the other 66 years. Throwing in all non-league games and games before the WBL existed, I doubt its winning percentage is much above 50%, if at all.

Mike Cramer would be a good candidate to be Fackler's replacement. I think everyone is aware of the reclamation job he did at Marion Local and then had the rug pulled out from under him before he could benefit from the hard work. He probably would be able to the same thing a Kenton.

Kenton scored 48 points last week. Kenton is third in the WBL in scoring offense. Offense hasn't been the problem.

Kenton would probably be better on Friday nights if they developed younger players while playing jv games. They played some varsity starters all four quarters of the jv game last night.
Whatever it takes to win I guess.....
