D4 Sectional Finals
Fort Recovery 12
Waynesfield-Goshen 0
Spencerville 10
New Bremen 0
A little surprised this game wasn't closer.
Marion Local 4
Crestview 1
Flyers pull the upset. I assume Thwaits pitched for ML. Hard thrower....makes them a threat whenever he's on the mound-and he's only a freshman. We will have to be ready for him.
Don't know the score, but Minster beat Perry and Josh Nixon pitched a perfect game.

St. Henry gets that win as Mikesell throws a no-hitter. Had a perfect game until 2 outs to go in the 7th when he plunked a kid.
Don't find fault, find a remedy.

I was going to root for my neighbors to the east but after talking to a friend I'm going with the former Green coach who is now at Grove. He beat the Pirates out also so there's another reason to go with the Bulldogs. I guess he didn't get enough wins at Ottoville and Grove picked him up on waivers. Way to go BOE. Now look, the Bulldogs are playing for the district championship. Can Tony C(something), sorry but I don't remember his last name, become the winningest coach in Ohio?
It's also good to see 2 PCL schools fighting for the district championship.

Tony Castronova is the Grove coach. Unless I'm missing something Tony is only in the 200's in terms of wins......he has a long way to go as the #1 according to the OHSAA recordbook is 846 by Don Thorp of Hebron Lakewood who went 846-219 from 73-2010
Bulldogs are in the District Finals for the second year in a row.
