out in the cold, and the sun glistening off the ice on the trees...this B&B has been our chosen place to lay our
heads these past 6 years, and this marks our 7th.....the owners treat us like royalty and I always look forward to
the Sunday breakfast served downstairs by the humongous fireplace in the dining room.....
Slicer was sleeping of course, so Flounder and I slipped into the hot tub to soothe our tired and weary muscles.
A half hour or so in here and then maybe a short nap to recharge our batteries for the long night ahead. The evening
meal served tonight at the CITC was also one of my favorites.....tender roast beef au jus with green beans and
plenty of homemade bread....Dessert was warm apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with some sort of
cinnamon flavoring.....DELISH!!.....
Hopefully we can wake Sleeping Slicer so she will have time to get herself ready...Flound and I have decided to just
go with the khakis and polo routine.....an Under Armor pullover will complete my ensemble for the evening's activities.

Go ahead..guess who's who..... If you remember past pics over the last 10 years that I've shared, you"ll know immediately which one is floundear..... Lol
Falcon's there, too!
Tell us who's who!

(lack of) sounds of Berlin, Ohio and the surrounding area.....I see where she's been awake for awhile and making
time for Josh while he's stuck giving everyone updates on today's action.....
Flounder and I are in our Saturday night's finest and Slicer has on a tight-fitting pair of Gloria Vanderbilts along
with a top that remarkably resembles something like we used to see back in the 80's at the old Wayside Inn in Lima..
I know that she's going to try and impress Mr. Jenkins but she has to know that there will be plenty of women who
will be vying for his attention this evening....(may the best woman win!)....
We plan on heading out in a few minutes now and with that will bring an end to my posts for this evening....they
have a saying in Vegas...and I think that all of our members can relate......goodnight RM

Belgian waffles, farm-fresh eggs, whole hog sausage and bacon, along with home-made bread, and some very strong
coffee to help shake the cobwebs out of our heads after last night's festivities.....
Of course Slicer said she'd be down later, but I have my doubts. I believe she only got like 3 hours of sleep and
I know that's not nearly enough...That, and she looked a little ragged when we finally put her to bed around 3:30am.
The roosters out here at the B&B act as the alarm clock and it's amazing every year that we return that they start
their morning cascade within 5 minutes each day......after breakfast we'll go down to the barn and maybe see if we
can get Tom (the owner) to hitch up a wagon to tour the countryside...getting Slicer under a pile of
blankets does have me wondering.....RM

problem....we returned back upstairs to our suite only to find Slicer in absentia. Flound checked the hot tub while
I checked the shower area....the darn woman just won't stay put!...checked downstairs and no one has seen her....I
am getting a little worried....she is probably still drunk, not nearly enough clothes on to be outside, and her
unfamiliarity with the area around the B&B is making me nervous....

we were all outside looking, Slicer had been found back in the room....she was fast asleep with a huge smile on her
face....Flound and I decided not to wake her and will be taking a sleigh ride over to Charm, Ohio via the trail that
runs beside the RR tracks from our B&B to this quaint little village...it should take about an hour and Tom said
the trip should allow us to get back in plenty of time to take in the first game today....
This will be my last post from our B&B as the WiFi out in this area is non-existent....we will be checking out when
we return and are planning on taking Slicer to her first CITC game ever....I know she'll be excited, but I don't
know if anything can top last night for her.....we'll just have to see......thanks RM

Flound,
She never ceases to amaze me also...never thought she would be able to keep up with "All those Young Dudes" last
night in the bar....That Rumspringa thing is sure something to see if you're witnessing it for the first time...
That being said, last night's conversation with Dr. Dan Ross from the OHSAA was really enlightening. He does seem
to "get it" concerning Ohio high school athletics, I just don't know if the rest of his staff does...sometimes
common sense and the OHSAA is a foreign language....
Slicer seems to be coming around after a massive dose of Amish black coffee and Advil....I think she's gonna make
it....I'll make sure she gets to experience the Shiatsu recliner they have upstairs in the media area. Maybe after
an hour or so in there she'll be ready for round 2 of the CITC....

around halftime of this game but I don't think basketball or food is on either of their minds.....Flounder had seen
a nicely restored 1966 Cadillac out in the parking lot this morning and I think he was going to show Slicer how much
chrome they used to put on these older vehicles.....I'm not going to worry about them, and it sure isn't my day to
watch them......
I think I'll just start inching closer to the food line and try to be one of the first ones.....RM

the wheel of the RC van....Slicer has retired to the van's rear (per the usual) while I keep Flounder company on the
way home.....we'll need to stop for gas and then I'll take it the rest of the way....
I think that Slicer enjoyed herself immensely (at least I hope so) as we tried our best to entertain her as best
we could....the basketball was outstanding and the weather cooperated nicely....this will be my last post as we're
getting ready to get on the 4 lane on the way home.....I just might slip on back and see if it is as comfortable as
Slicer is making it look.......thanks again for following our updates, and already looking forward to next year...
