Thought maybe we could open this up to a little bigger area. I included teams that play in the NW Ohio districts / regionals. I didn't spend too much time on this...and it's early. Don't be too hard on me

D1 & 2

1. Toledo St Johns (4-0).....4 games in Cali this week should tell us a lot
2. Whitmer (4-1).....only loss to the Titans. Tourney in Florida for 3 games this week
3. Southview (5-0)....home vs Wauseon on Jan 6
4. Elida (8-0)....played 3 D4's so far...gets tougher from here...keep winning they'll move up
5. Wauseon (7-0)....only real test so far has been Archbold

Others (no order).....Findlay, Lima Senior, Northview, Toledo St Francis & Toledo Start


D3 & 4

1. OG (7-0)....big matchup @ Findlay Jan 13
2. Versailles (6-0)
3. Archbold (4-2) Only losses to unbeatens OG and Wauseon.
4. Lincolnview (6-1)....tough stretch w/ Kalida, Ottoville & Ft Recovery the next 3 games
5. tie ..St. Johns (5-2) and Wayne Trace (6-1)

Others (no order)......P-G, Ottoville (another big week, C-View & L-view), Crestview (huge weekend coming up), Cardinal Stritch (8-0)...horrible schedule so far but stepping up to play in the Southview tourney this weekend, LCC (4-3) Losses to teams with a combined 19-2 record, Kalida (5-2) ...LCC & L-view this week. Chance to make a big move, Fort Recovery (5-2)....St. Henry, Lincolnview, Worthington Kilbourne and Versailles in the next 3 weekends...could make a big jump

Charlie.....

Not bad, but even though Lincolnview has all that tradition , I think that they do not belong.......also, a team that might be worth watching is Fort Loramie in the smaller divisions......if you are going to rank someone like Kilbourne....probably have relation there....you might want to take a look at Hilliard Bradley!!!!!!!

Flounder. Lincolnview will decide their own fate over the next 3 games. Fort Loranie goes to the SW District....that's "not our area" lol so i didn't include them. Killbourne isn't included. Ft Recovery plays them next month

I've been hearing good things about your 'Jays.....even Bobby would agree they have the ingredients....my Rockets ran into 3 "shirts" last weekend down in McGuffey so I wouldn't think we should be punished for that one....the LSCC Tbirds will be someone to reckon with come March 1....LB might finish in the bottom tier of the Barely Varsity Conference, haven't seen that since the DeanDomer roamed the sidelines.....watch out for Ottawa Hills in D4.....sneaky

Versailles is further south than Fort Loramie.....rank them!!!!

On a bit of a side note 'Rocketman and Flounder always ranked both teams.......it improved the hits and always put the NW crowd in a tizzy!!!!!

Last I heard he was in Jamaica man.....and the only reason you say that is because he is a knight native......might also want to look in the confessional of DSJ church,...when the heat was turned up this was his favorite hiding place!!!!

Well to be fair...his rankings for volleyball were featured on many sites and the basketball ones were always good even when the Crestview boys weren't ranked. He's not from Crestview but rather Marion Local.

Also, Crestview lost tonight again to Ottoville 48-52. So DSJ almighty shouldn't have a problem with the woeful Knights.

St Johns goes down, Whitmer wins big....could see a shakeup in the D1 & D2 rankings.....Start and Northview also with W's last night.

Kalida gets the first W in what could be a big weekend for the 'Cats

Versailles gets tested...but pulls out the win

Crestview in danger of falling out of the rankings altogether...and maybe the Birds go with them

Crestview's losses :
by 4 to Van wert first game of season
by 4 to Ottoville and Ottoville hit a last second shot and Crestview had to foul
by 6 to Ft Jennings in which the knights shot 19%

Crestview has been without the services of super fresh Kalen Etzler as well against Ottoville and DSJ.
