In theory it can but normally it goes to the highest goal scorer, occasionally a midfielder.

I think this an unfair judgement on both players. Not sure what we're basing this on. Both are dangerous attacking players. Granted, the league is down in overall quality but there are several good players out there still.

No.
Is he good?
Yes.
POY?
Normally it'll go to a player that is on the 1st place team. And Upper has already lost to VB and VB and Riverdale have yet to lose or tie in the NCOSA. Anyone can still get it.

I think that the coaches do a pretty good job of voting all-league, but there are exceptions sometimes.....

I think that the league should adopt a formation to help with league voting because the NCOSA forgets about most defenders. Remember the best offense and no defense is just Arsenal.

Defenders get left out of everything. I always did try to remember who I thought were the best ones that I saw through the season.
Remember though, the best defense and no offense never wins.

Any one of those boys should have been worthy on being player of the year. (List some more names please), but yes to your point formercoach Defenders have gotten screwed in that area, I think we need some change

Great MFs get overlooked too unless they are goal-scoring MFs. Zidane scored some goals, but could never be considered a goal-scoring MF. He is however one of the 5 greatest players ever. Beckenbauer, Bobby Moore, so many greats that didn't score goals while there are FWs that score many goals but would never be considered great players, only great goal scorers & there's a big difference.
