Changes are inevitable in everything that we do in life. Television, space travel, microwaves, CD's, computers, etc. have opened up our eyes to what this world has in store for us earthlings.....In the last few years, the advent of the smartphones has really accelerated the way that we communicate in our daily lives. Technology is exploding at a dizzying pace and the RC needs to keep up or we'll be left behind. Now I never professed to be any sort of a tech person but my Sis who helped develop the RC sure knows her stuff. A few months ago she called with some new ideas and the ways that we could implement these Changes that we are planning on having for the upcoming sports seasons.......

#1 will see a new type of formatting here with the advent of an updated IPB.....(don't ask me what it is, only that she says it will be really cool and we'll be able to offer more features to the site ) I did tell her though that I kinda wanted to keep the calming blue color of the site as this seems to have a rather soothing effect....

#2 will bring our members the capability to text updated scores right to the site .......this should make our chief resident "updater" very happy indeed!

#3 and the best thing out of all of this is that the RC will continue to remain absolutely, positively FREE to join and post your thoughts. I had made a promise way back in December of 2005 that this site would remain FREE for 5 years.......well, we're past that 5 yr. window and with all of the good news that has happened here I can see no reason why we can't offer the same great deal to our members for another 5 years!

We look to have these updates done in the next few weeks, just in time for the high school football season. With our continued FREE contests and FREE membership along with some neat changes I hope that everyone will enjoy the RC...........thanks RM

all Ipod/Iphone apps work on the Ipad but are only the size of an Ipod on the Ipad screen. There are others that work correctly on both (Meaning its full screen on the Ipad) I have a few (Games) that only work on the Ipad

I like this new mobile version of the site. Much cleaner and easier to navigate then the full html site on a phone. Keep up the good work. Hopefully the APP will be great too.

It looks like the transition went smoothly.........now I need to figure out what some of the new-fangled features of this site are

I am like a little kid in a candy store running around and clicking on anything I can find..........Sis says that the site will be able to
load much faster and that the anticipated increase in traffic starting in a few weeks will be easily handled.........I am much more
anxious to find out how some of the techie things are going to work out for everyone.............thanks RM
