I've seen a couple videos of incidents this year, let's just say I think he forgot he wasn't playing football anymore

In all honesty, that physicality is the only way I think they throw WT off of their game. hahaha

Judging by comparing their schedules, and seeing how dominant WT can be when they get in a roll...I would have to think that WT pulls this one out. If the refs let the game be physical and Ayersville is clicking then we will have a game.

Listened to WT - Ayersville on radio. Lot of missed foul shots by both teams down the stretch. Sounded like not a pretty game.

Both of those teams are gonna be pretty tough outs come tourney time. I think both have a great shot at getting to Regionals or beyond

Count me as surprised at the result of this one. Good for Ayersville...who stands in their way before regionals?

Congrats to Ayersville for the hard fought win. It was an ugly game, but that is exactly the way they wanted it. At the beginning they tried to go man and full court press WT and quickly went down ten points, but Jaymes Zachrich instantly switched to a box-and-1 and stalled the WT attack for the rest of the night.

Ayersville should walk to state with WT and them being in different divisions this year, and WT will have to at least beat Spencerville or Marion Local to get to regionals, which is certainly possible.

Ayersville has already beaten Toledo C and they are in same district. MVCD is talented as well in that district but young. Best team in regional will be Mansfield St Pete and I would think they may be the favorite to make it to state. They have 3 or 4 potential college players and have played a lot of D1/D2 teams this year. Let's just say they have recruited well from AAU teams in Mansfield area over the years. They play very fast and score a lot of points.

I had somebody tell me the Linder kid from Wayne Trace is already over 2000 points. Is that right? If so, that is quite an accomplishment.

Rally:

Yes....It happened last Friday. As far as I know, he is the first player (boy's or girls) in the NW Ohio 6 County (Paulding, Putnam, Henry, Defiance, Fulton, Williams) area to do this. Dan Neff from the great Ayersville teams of the early 60's ended with something like 1,980 points. Several from Allen County (Butler, Simpson) and Van Wert County (a player from Willshire in the 50's) have done it. There may be others. Did Brandon Pardon reach 2,000?

Coach Hurst from Holgate deserves COY in the GMC. I don't think anyone had Holgate even sniffing a league title this year, but here they are. I've seen them play a couple times this year & there is no wow-factor with them but they play hard defense & find a way to score enough points to get the W (most of the time). Wayno would be proud

Not sure they do a Coach of Year in GMC. They should. And if so, yes the Tiger's Coach deserves it
