Attention CR players, This past weekend I found out that a coach from a school in your league plans on trying to get your team in trouble. I guess he is convinced that if you allow the one girl to play on your team you will be in violation of OHSAA rules and could face some tough penalties. He plans on doing nothing until after the regular season is over and then file a complaint to try and get your team ineligible for the tournament. I just thought you guys should know because I don't know whether he has a legitimate complaint or not and maybe you should check with your AD to make sure she is able to play or not. I would hate for you to play all year and have a good season ruined because of something dumb like this.

ManUFan, that'd be bush league. I can think of two coaches who'd pull something like that...One would be in Hardin County the other'd be from North Findlay....Hopefully coaches will grow up!

Clum from Ada would not do it. Maybe from VB or Riverdale.
Regardless, if a rule was broken, so be it. Manfan, you seem to be tattling here.

No rule has been broken yet. And I don't consider what I'm doing as tattling. I'm simply trying to prevent something else bad from happening to the CR soccer program. They've already been through enough this spring.

There are three girls, that if they wish they can play on cr's boys team. The girls team was not official until after their first season with the boys. The girls team will be 'graduated in' and since they already were on the boys team last season they are allowed to finish their hs career on the boys team(without penalty). I believe only one of the girls plans on being on the boys team though.
